Makes zero sense for the Leafs who would be moving their two best defenders for a redundant piece in Petry, Hemsky who no one wants and future pick that doesn't help a team trying to make the playoffs.

For sure Franson would bring you back more but why not toss liles for free who cares his guna be on the bench all year anyway and use liles 3.75 mil? to give to a guy who has a big frame and can play the style we want for the next 5 years.

disappointment? maybe people who expect the playoffs. Disappointment will be happening in TO. Taste of playoffs in shortened season. Highest SH% in the league and 2nd worst possession team. Lost 2 of top possession players in Macarthur and grabo. Re signed one of worst for 5 years.
