I just did my first 5k two weekends ago! It was a mud run/obstacle course 5k that was 70% motor cross track and 30% cross country. Never thought I had it in me; it was pretty challenging but sssoooooo much fun!

The link says it's at the Great Pumpkin farm in Clarence Center. Now I'm confused!

I just did my first 5k two weekends ago! It was a mud run/obstacle course 5k that was 70% motor cross track and 30% cross country. Never thought I had it in me; it was pretty challenging but sssoooooo much fun!

I never thought I'd be able to do it either. My times still stink because I can't quite run the whole thing yet. But I did 2.67 miles of straight running today (mostly because it started to pour and I was trying to get home). But, it's a personal best for me so I was kind of proud when I got home.

I know someone else that's doing that one. It's expensive though. $55 is a bit steep IMO.

You should be proud! Congrats! I was always into running on the treadmill but never ran outside. I always had an excuse as to why I couldn't do it, but I committed to it in late a few months ago and now I am addicted!

Warrior Dash is pretty laid back... Tons of people go that are in no shape to do it, but still have fun.
The people in costumes are the best.
