Always thought that Rick Nash would be a superb fit for this young Edmonton forward squad.
Would do something like : Hemsky + Gagner + 3rd for Nash. Gagner + Smid + 3rd for Nash maybe also... Need to shred some salary there, but I think it would be a great fit there : physicalty, leadership, etc. - MightyPee
why on earth would the Rangers trade a 30-40 goal legit power forward for that package? |

Less commenting on the Nash deal here and more that by the transitive property you think Hemsky and Smid are worth the same in a trade.
Either you've got an optimistic view of Hemmer or a pessimistic view of Smid. I dunno wether Nash will want to head back to the doldrums of a "non-world class" city now that he's gotten out from CLB. Especially a fan base as demanding as Edmonton. That and we couldn't afford him long term. |

you forgot the 2014 1st. Weber wants me to make love to that. Don't know if I wait for him to get drafted or... - TheNugeIsHuge
I think your best bet would be to just have sex with the 60 or so prospects that may end up going in the first round. It's best not to keep Weber waiting. |

Seems to me his Montreal trade in last years trade wars totally screwed the Habs too. I'm sure he "justified" that one as well |

i think any conversation involving "Nash" and "Edmonton" would have to involve a name like Eberle. why else do it if you're NY? trade a first liner for 2 second liners? |

how is rielly easily better than klefbom?
how much do you know about klefbom? - hugefemale dog77
Okay I think this was a blatant troll attempt. I'm not sure but I think so. Just read up on scouting reports from pretty much any site or expert with credibility. Reilly is a better prospect.
Schultz is currently better then Gardiner, but I will take Gardiner. Just personal preference.
And Eberle has proven more, but Kadri was a better player last year. Can't really deny that, look at the stats. Too early to say on these two. |

*sigh* alright. but don't ever say I didn't sacrifice for the team.
anyone know where aaron ekblad's house is? gotta think at 6'4 I'll be having a good time.
anyways, see you all in 3 months when I return from my journey. Does Weber want me to film or just perform the act? |

I agree for the most part. I am a big fan of klefbom, but Rielly is a more highly touted prospect. Has more value and will likely be the better player.
Schultz>Gardiner. But I wouldn't say the difference is big.
As of right now Kadri>Eberle. Both young though and it could easily reverse next year |

No reason. As much as it may be a fit on Edmonton's roster, it's not a fit on their payroll and it's not a fit in finding a trade between the two teams. |

yeah. from what ive read both are elite prospects, with rielly being ahead in most experts eyes.
form the little ive seen it's also very close, although I was unimpressed with morgan in last years wjc's. and quite opposite from klefbom in the same tourney the year before when he won best dman.
I just thought it was a funny comment that rielly was "easily" the better player, when dude prob has no idea about either and it's really nothing gmore than conjecture at this point. |

Nash liked living here. In fact he kept his house in Columbus. He also has a full NMC in his contract. When the CBJ were trying to trade him he would only accept a trade to a very limited number of teams. Think Edmonton is one of the teams he'd wave his NMC for? |

No. That's exactly what I said.
Wasn't particularly aware of his opinions of Columbus as a city. |

Besides Jeff Carter, I think you'd be hard pressed to find any current or former Jacket that didn't enjoy living in the Columbus metropolitan area. |

Cool. Even without any commentary about Columbus as a city I doubt Nash would be thrilled to go from living in a city like New York to a city like Edmonton. |

Didn't read the rest of the comments, but Cloutier's opinion of Williams is terrible. He has been dynamite for the Kings on their top line for the last several years. He hasn't even been injured in 3-4 years... |
