Weber was on pace to post almost identical G/A/P numbers last year compared to the 3 years before. he's never been a huge point producer even with Suter. now if people wanna talk about his defensive game falling off, OK, i dunno, don't watch much of him but im pretty sure no one does given tha he plays in Nashville.

scooby just trolls. bieksa is pretty dumb sometimes, but BUF and TO fans are much worse than VAN fans and I say that passionately hating the canucks

I liked what I saw when NSH played EDM, but biznasty looks good playing EDM.

They were one of the biggest spenders this off-season. They could easily have put the 11 million they spent on Cullen, Nystrom, Stalberg and Hendricks and nabbed a bigger fish while bringing back Halischuk, Mueller and Yip as filler.

It's not that thy can't afford it, they've just prioritized grinders over Kostitsyns.

There are a couple of Pittsburgh fans that are incapable of seeing things from any other team's perspective, and genuinely believe that because their team is good, their garbage is better than any other teams role players. Some of my least favourite times here have been in speaking to (specific) Pens fans.

Cloutier seems to really have no idea about the Flyers needs or situation for a team he always includes in trade proposals.

He harps on cap space like Rush Limbaugh harps on Obama. Ryan Johanssen is a nice young player. Very similar to Brayden Schenn. So why would the Flyers add a 2nd rounder? Especially when one considers after LTIR, plus Schenn's difficult to reach bonuses, it's not that big a deal.

Because if Cloutier had done a tiny bit of research, the bulk of Schenn's cap hit is in bonuses, which can be deferred and immediately disappear when he can't achieve them.

Absolutely correct, best team Top to Bottom. To win Cups you need to have a few stars or so called superstars, but just as importantly , you need great role players.

Always thought that Rick Nash would be a superb fit for this young Edmonton forward squad.

Would do something like : Hemsky + Gagner + 3rd for Nash. Gagner + Smid + 3rd for Nash maybe also... Need to shred some salary there, but I think it would be a great fit there : physicalty, leadership, etc.
