I'd like Cleary. Yost says Morrow was a 44% possession player this year. Murray can't skate. Hainsey isn't a fit with 6 LHD already. bryz sucks. gagne sucks. wellwood is too small, edm has enough 5'10 guys. grabo'd be good.

Yeah at a good price I'd take Grabo even with Gagner back. If Gagner or Nuge misses time (history suggests they both will) we need a centre that isn't Arcobello.

They didn't win solely because of Toews. They have the best team in the NHL. Replace Toews with OV and Chicago still wins. Yes, Toews is great, deserves credit as a Cup-winning captain, but come on here. This kind of narrative ignores other contributions, and is simply an easy way for someone to draw a conclusion without doing actual, objective research. "Toews wins cups" doesn't make Toews any better or more valuable of a player. He's great based on his stats, his objectively great two-way play, not because he wins cups. He wins cups because his TEAM is the best one.

I'm not that crazy about him. I think the Oilers are due to totally fleece somebody . I'm interested insofar as we could get him at good value while he's down and out. I'd take him on two years at 3.5 per. He'd probably balk though...
