a much more similar scenario is;
eberle, Schultz and klefbom
and no. - hugefemale dog77
Are you high? How are Kadri and Eberle equivelant? Eberle has a 70 point year under his belt while kadri has yet to play an entire 82 game NHL season, use your head. |

Calm down.
They're both good young players who still have alot to prove and both had one successful season. |

Gardiner > Schultz (arguably)
Rielly > Klefbom (easy)
Eberle > Kadri (durrrr)
It is pretty even. Even though neither team would make that swap hahaha. |

he's in another class than either of those 2. - hugefemale dog77

eberle has a 76 point season. kadri was on pace for 75 last year.
regardless if you wanna use the shortened season or not, he was without a doubt better than eberle last year. no?
that was his first full year on the big club too.
I think anyone who says the two aren't at least comparable after last season isn't using their head as is being abit of a homer.
are YOU high? |

I'd put them in a similar value category as of now. Eberle's 2011-2012 season and Kadri's 2013 season were both based a lot on luck. I think Eberle's the better player, but kadri just outscored him. I doubt he does next year though |

No to that leafs trade. Great as Weber is that is an overpay.
And on the Ovechkin thing yes he may choke in the playoffs, but at least he gets his team there. Would be an improvement in that regard for the Oilers. - TheLeafsInsider
If the Leafs could somehow keep Rielly and move out some salary I'd love to see them bring in Weber. Perhaps something like Franson + Gardiner + Blacker + Kadri + Kulemin for Weber |

how is rielly easily better than klefbom?
how much do you know about klefbom? |

I would consider a Heatly for Hemsky trade- at least if we dont make the playoffs we have a scapegoat...
on second thought- heater is likely a cancer that would (frank) up our team and core |

id want more for weber if i was nashville. i think they lose in any trade in which they dont receive a fairly large overpayment |

if ovechkin played on teams as well constructed as the blackhawks, he'd have multiple cups also. |

If you're high on Rielly it would be pretty silly to move him for Weber. It would take Nashville viewing Kadri as an All-Star and Franson + Blacker + Gardiner as top 4 D-men. I imagine Toronto could throw in some picks as well, something like; a 2014 2nd and 3rd round pick and a 2015 2nd round pick. |

If Ovechkin's presence - simply having been to the playoffs - single-handedly wills us into the playoffs, then signing Andew Ference will single-handedly will us into cup contention.

Pure talent? Pretty close. One has an unbelievably good contract, tho. The other's stinks. |
