"Jagr has nearly 1700P and has been one of the best players to ever play, Jagr>Stamkos" |

I'd argue that Stamkos and Malkin are better. Not because I'm a homer, because it is the truth.
You've turned from an argument to being ignorant. But you're a BUF fan. So it's understandable. - TheNugeIsHuge

Tavares

same output over the last two season.. but who has played more playoff games? - derm10
so because he's on a better team he's a better player? alright
Matt Moulson and Matt Duchene's production was the same. Moulson played 6 playoff games. Moulson>Duchene |

still to much to give up.
1 of gardnier or rielley + kadri + 4th round pick or a 2nd tier propect. - zazzle
No where near enough...that's a joke of an offer. |

it seems like you just hate on ovi?
Malkin is a beast and as good as ovi
Stamkos is good but behind Malkin Ovi and Sid
Hall is a great player but i think he is a step below those four |

let me try to end this. Ovi>Hall.
but.
Ovi was just 3rd in league scoring. Hall was 9th missing 3 games and was 21. The difference is far from being large. |

obviously exaggerating to again try to prove to you that a value in a player doesn't lie in what he did 5 years ago. that's stupid and you should know it - TheNugeIsHuge
Yea except it does because he currently is league MVP. So does he need to score 65 in 48 games for him to have the same value? |

yes. I just hate Ovi. WSH and EDM being division rivals and all.
Stamkos was 2nd in league scoring the past 2 years. I think he's the most valuable player in the league. No injury history. Consistently puts up 90+P. Younger and cheaper than Crosby+Malkin+Ovi |

if he has a 100P season next year. Then yes, I'll give him credit where it's due. 121P in his last 126GP is not top 3 in the league |

Stamkos is a top 3 player to me regardless if his player misses the playoffs for the 3rd straight year. A single player cannot carry his team to the playoffs |

halls pace in his third season was on pace to score roughly 29 goals and roughly 62 assists so 91 points which is great, but when ovi was in his third year he had 65 goals and 112 points and this year he lead the NHL in goals and was MVP |

I agree. However look how WSH and Ovechkin started and how WSH and Ovechkin finished. He carried them how any great player carries a team |

no. building a team around him. Having John Carlson, karl alzner, mike green on D, Holtby n Neuvirth in net, Backstrom Ribeiro etc. on the team is what got WSH in to the playoffs.
having smid-petry as a top pairing. having eager, belanger, petrell in the bottom 6. having a top 6 with an average age of 20.5. hall can't carry that. no one can |

I love Hall. And I'm not a huge Ovi fan. So im not biased. It's just easier to see not being an EDM fan I guess. Were talking about a guy that has done..
