right but everyone here is saying that if it was a matter of capspace, Liles would have been the compliance buyout over Komisarek, who was more moveable given his contract status (1 year vs. 3).
i think Liles CAN be moved, but i think it would be a situation like the deal that got you guys Franson, where you'd have to throw in some real value in exchange for the cap relief, like a half decent prospect or pick.

That wouldn't help this year as I think Komi was almost a mill more on cap space for upcoming season....next few years cap space goes up making things a bit easier.

so the goal this year is 500.

should be attainable!

right but my thinking is, any team with the space to take on $3.5 million would likely be able to handle $4.5 million. but i guess the danger for Nonis would have been in not being able to unload Komisarek on someone, because with the Leafs already choked, that extra $1 million would have been a big deal.

i feel bad for him actually, it's quite sad

it is a great lake for fishing, read it in magazine had it ranked like top 30 in canada or something
