You mean by the guy more in love with him then you?
- honesthockey

Not in love with him, just am not radically ridiculous like you. You keep arguing Bozak is the bomb because Carlyle plays him all the time. Well then I would imagine Gardiner is not a career AHL'er if he is going to team USA camp

I like how you have taken 2 absolute unknowns, looked at what I said I think will happen, and tell me I'm wrong

Previous salary IS taken into account. And a guy who isn't guaranteed a spot in the lineup doesn't have a strong case in arbitration.

- Big_Lightnin

Right, because you haven't factored in a single unknown when you told me the story of how this entire thing plays out, twice.. Right? Not a single one.

When you're repetively telling me about frasers situation, you are aware that Clarke MacArthur had 65 more career games before his hearing than Fraser has right now, right? The big argument on your part is that he had 17 and 13 goal seasons to get his 2.1 million award. The big argument on mine is that it was about 4 years prior to the ridiculous salary inflation that is happening right now.

I don't know why you're so compelled to prove you're right about something before it even happens, but I'll say it again. I don't care. I hope you're right. All we need is nonis getting cornholed for more than a player should be paid for the fifth time this summer

You are aware that the Thrashers didn't even make their case for MacArther, Right? That they walked in and asked for the award because they already knew they were going to let him walk?

No, of course not.

I'm dealing with what is likely, based on the what we've seen and know about the situation.

you are saying "Arbitration!! AAAAAHHHH BALAHAHAAHAHAHAH !\

Pretty damn good on that guy if he got an invite. Not sure what all the hate is from. Maybe Gardiner once stole his starting role?

Here's my question... who's the USA's #1C? Kesler?

All I'm saying is I'm not arrogant enough to pretend to know how what has been the most wildly unpredictable event in hockey plays out before it even happens, and cram it in others faces who disagree. I said I'm leary about it.

There's a ribbon handed out to the biggest know it all here isn't there? The more you can predict, and the more arrogant you can be about it, the cooler you are at hockey buzzing. Wonder if urban dictionary can confirm this?

ok I Just reread the convo... looks like we started out having a conversation and both thought the other one was being an ass-hat.

So I'll start over - I think the Leafs have a strong case to reduce Fraser to rubble in a hearing. Redardless of his team leading plus minus, he was still bottom pairing essentially the whole year, and they could argue Franson carried his ass.

And as I said, with all the prospects, could claim he isn't a shoe in to make the team.

I agree with your general statement that Arbitration is usually a poop-show. I just think that in this case, Leafs won't do that badly.

EDIT: I absolutely didn't want to see Gunnar go to arbitration. Nonis would have gotten bent over there. Guys played top pairing minutes majority of the last 3 years.

Wedgie summed it up perfectly a few months ago, wish I had saved it.

Most people don't hate Bozak, just hate the fact Leafs have to settle for him as the #1C.

I heard team USA is trying to make a trade with Canada to use Bozak as their 1C to play with Kessel for a dynamic duo never before seen on the Olympic stage..

Canada is (frank)ed.

What, saying Fraser wasn't going to turn down buckets of money in arbitration if it was thrown at him, because he's only there for term? Jesus Christ, get over yourself.

I've learned my lesson with you and burn. If you're not going to ask a question that pads your ego? Don't even (frank)ing bother. Just hang out and wait for you guys to review posts, and just throw up the snide old man laughy faces, and 'huh?', when there's an opinion you haven't deemed accurate enough in your standards.

How does any form of media make it with you to legends throwing up crystal balls? Keep your predictions for someone who cares, as I'm pointing out for the third time, I don't.

Well who's fault is that? Blame the Leafs for settling with hin as the #1 center. Can't blame Bozak. I always said, if the Leafs can go & get a better center than Bozak, fine with me, that'd be great. But they haven't so Bozak is the best they got.

they just bought out a better Center than Bozak... but that couldn't possibly matter.
