not getting into your guy's pissing match on that one, but seems to me a guy who's coming off of 4 consecutive 1 yr contracts worth <$600K per (on average) isn't going to demand more than $1M a year.

He's going to Arb because he wants a 2 yr, 1-way contract.

2 yrs, $1,8M on a 1-way deal would easily get him signed.

I was "hoping" we could get Clarkson for $5.5M (though I expected 5 yrs.) so lower hit but more term. Was saying $2.75M for Gunnar would be a steal, but figured $3M for 4 yrs was what it would be.
