That would be fantastic. Hamhuis is Vancouver's most dependable guy, IMO.

meh, that was a gift. Gave him money so he didn't feel as bad about firing his buddy. I don't mind that. I minded him not realizing he should have fired him at least a year earlier howevern

Agreed...for all the good things Burke did the Grabs and Liles contracts were devastatingly bad.

I still don't mind Grabo..he can do what Bozak does...I think we jumped the gun and wasted a buyout on him...should have let Bozak walk and worried about Kessel when it came time to worry about Kessel. IMO Terrible to pay a guy 20 million to go away and then sign a guy with less talent ( maybe better on the draw ) for pretty much the same money.

Yeah...there's a lot of truth in that. But to me...the bottom line is that if Grabs had been paid what he was worth (4m) we WOULD have let Bozak walk. It's looking more and more like Nonis realized every dollar would count.
