If Buffalo's semi-serious about shipping away Thomas Vanek at some point, they'd probably do well to insulate their wings. Myers is a very good defender, but the Sabres just added a pair of first-round defensive prospects in Nikita Zadarov and Rasmus Ristolainen.

Colorado's loaded in the forward ranks, which makes you wonder if a guy like Parenteau -- who was excellent last year -- could be a potential trade-chip for defensive help. He certainly is the draw for Buffalo here

I don't like that at all... Parenteau is a 2nd line guy who is solid in that role.. tanguay is down hill every year and what like 35 years old? Poulet I don't know enough about but still.. Myers and Stafford... no.

Ugh that's awful. What is Tanguay 45 or something? I like Parenteau but that's a garbage deal. Agree on the

edit- Tanguay is 33.

really? they just extended Fastch after he exploded onto the scene.. I think that they let Hille rwalk.. but they would be more interested in a 1A/1B thing there and Miller needs 60 starts.

If there is any west coast team.. i could see it being SJ doing a complete rebuild with Marleau and Thornton both UFAs.

Fasth is young and unproven and they won't re-sign Hiller. Just a hunch on Anaheim but seems a likely spot for Ryan. I don't see SJ because Niemi had a great 12/13 and is signed for a few more years. Niemi is their #1 there.
