We have some good depth with Jagr but we need a star to score timely goals, be the go to scorer for us, etc. If Columbus sucks this year, which is possible if Bob isn't great like last season, Gaborik could be available at the deadline. Vanek will for sure. One of those 2 and we are a cup contender. Maybe this team won't be a good regular season team and be one of the bottom seeds at best but in the playoffs we can make noise if we pick up a star forward.

Just looking at a glance, I would say, barring injury, there are 5 locks for the team in Kronwall, Edler, Hjalmarsson, OEL, and Karlsson. I could see him snagging the 6th or 7th Dman spot

Barring a huge step back, I think Hedman has the 6th spot locked up too. Good combination of size and speed for the international ice. Or enstrom, they are really deep on defense.

Him and Hjalmarsson are probably the two bigger(not really that big) question marks on their D. Hjalmarsson because he plays on such a good team and Hedman because he plays on such a bad team

I would swap Clowe and Elias. Elias and Jagr played well together in international competition. Give them a shot to have some old guy nationalist chemistry.
