You must have missed the part where he said it was the most embarrassing moment in Penguins history. |

All talk about Fleury. I’m a bit surprised #TeamCanada wouldn’t consider Pascal Dupuis. Chemistry w/87, good PK, even-strength goals, speed.
I would have been speechless..... oh wait no I wouldn't.. I would have called BS and ransacked someone - nh4442

Yeah, didn't say the word embarrassing; it really makes no sense. Now pathetic, disgusting, foolish, and biggest mistake in the history of the franchise are very likely things I've said. |

im sure you are a fan of the hyperbole, but still haha. i wouldve loved to retain him, but its kind of like the talbot thing. for that money and term, its just hard to fit in. it sucks because he was a fairly valuable depth guy. i do agree with you that he will be missed (maybe not to the extent that youre saying it will be the franchises undoing, thats a little absurd) but i think he will be missed much more for different things than you are referring to. |

Paul Martin and Brooks Orpik are invited to US camp, Scuderi was not.
And a guy that I totally overlooked in my last blog, Beau Bennett has been invited. I'm actually ashamed that I overlooked a guy that I have been pumping up the last few months.
John Gibson also earned an invite.
Edit: Brandon Saad as well. |

Odd to see Scuderi not there. Might be nice to have at least one of our better defenseman taking a break during the olympics. |

The way the NHL dragged their feet on participating in Russia, I'm not so sure we see the NHL in South Korea. |
|
|

good for our invites to their respective camps.
Crosby, letang, Martin, Oprik will each make their teams.
see no way kunitz makes it, Canada has too much depth. could see neal be brought over as a spare (teams are allowed 3 extra guys)...
cant see Bennett making the team unless bylsma brings him just to bench him. nevertheless, this experience will be great for his development. |

nah I think they will... they know how franked up the you know what they would get from the European players.
a decade ago, taking away the Olympics from NHL players wouldn't be as big... but today with threatening leagues overseas, NHL lost all bargaining chips. |
