Edmonton doesn't have the assets to trade for Backes or Berglund. Sure, they have more valuable players, but they can't fill the holes they would be creating in our roster for a similar salary/cap hit. And we don't have any already present major holes they could fill to make it worth creating one elsewhere, or the flexibility to take on more cap.

Backes on had 28 points (frank) that I don want him here

Its just a what if, no one actually think St. Louis will trade then guy. If they would Holmgren might give ya half of the flyers roster if there is a prospect in there as well.

He fits Hitch's system so perfectly I'm almost curious how well he'd fit in other systems.

this is crazy.

he's EXACTLY the kind of player that we're looking for in our top 6.

we were actually even looking for someone who was the same type of player, but wasn't as good as the price would be so high for him.

or was that sarcasm?

we aint getting him anyway

Saw a video on Crackle today about Tetris. This guy named Thor is (frank)ing crazy, and he's the Tetris god of Earth.

I found Micro Machines to be insanely addicting.

I played Altered Beast a few time for the Genesis and Sega CD, and never really enjoyed it

I watched a little bit of the stuff from Evo and it was nuts. Watching players who actually know how to loop, string, juggle, stun etc. properly in fighting games is pretty nuts.

Yeah, it's crazy indeed. I'd recommend the Tetris one... Blew my mind.

That Thor guy won the NES Championship back in 1990, when he was 14, and the movie The Wizard was based on him. He won 10k and a car... His mother and father were sick, so they took his money, and had to sell his car so they could afford food or whatever.

love this canucks fan. overly optimistic about an oiler player the complete opposite of every non oiler fan on this site

I always liked Gagner, im a fan of his. I definately respect a good player when i see it. He's kind of an underdog, I see him always overcoming adversity. Those are players to build around definitely, ones with character, he pretty much earns everything but has amazing skill to play with elite talent.
