As far as I know the only answer to that is 6 black guys wearing orange jumpsuits and a blonde chick. But you already know that....sick (frank).

Don't worry, they have Rev. Al Sharpton, Jessie Jackson and Barrack Hussien Obama on retainer. They're good to go.

As a disclaimer, im not a hockey expert, but I like to listen to 1050am and get the take of what the experts are saying behind Dion Phaneuf.

There seems to be a few things that I heard on a consistant basis which caught my attention by the so called professional hockey insiders.

- Dion's not a true 25 minute+ guy on the ice, many say he burns out and looses consistency after the 22 minute mark.

- hes not a true 6.5 million per year defence man either, most at that price range are expected to have better results.

-Next year is a contract year for Dion, and hes expected to ask for much more than 6.5 mill and I feel quite confident Nonis will not pay that high for a miscast captain that was a Wilson Burkie choice. and if that is the case it makes more sence to trade him for some value now, instead of watching him walk away into free agency next year.

Ahhh, sarcasm; the last refuge of modest and chaste-souled people when the privacy of their soul is coarsely and intrusively invaded.

As a Brit, I have also realised that it is impossible for me to say "great!" without sounding sarcastic....

The problem, as has been reiterated a million times around here, is that you just aren't going to find a guy on par with Phaneuf who can play in all situations for a cheaper price tag (without losing assets).

You know, the habs were just implementing the rope a dope. Tire your opponent out by letting him punch you repeatedly in the face then go for the kill. The damn refs kept stepping in though......smells like a conspiracy.

Based on what I just read, the Leafs have to trade Phaneuf. They have no choice going forward.

Or, to put it another way, they must extend his contract and keep him.
