fine.. they are a defense first team who collapses at the drop of a dime

you've been all over the semantics of my posts recently

the argument here is they are a defense first team.. which limits offensive production

- Dozzer

I want to be surprised in a good way by Clarkson, but right now I am not anticipating it.

Also, say Kadri lights it up and gets the call for 1C. Does a line of Lupul/JVR-Bozak-Clarkson not make you puke in your mouth?

you dont build lines that way

even if kadri lights it up they wont transplant bozak on the top line if it means messing up a good thing

nothing wrong with two scoring lines

This team still has a lot of holes - particularly on defence - but this is the first time in 6+ years that I can see the makings of some reasonably talented and organized lines that will play specific roles. Two scoring lines, a checking line, and an energy line.

Not too many holes, though. The void on D will be filled by Gardiner/Reilly continuing to progress.

food for thought

Granberg makes the team this year imo

dont know if he starts with the marlies or not.. i guess it will depend on how smoothly he transitions to the NA ice

wouldnt shock me

i think thats a team that will struggle this year... but might get a nice lil recoup on picks when they ultimately move jagr to a contender at the deadline

Neither will really fill the holes on D.

THIS

gardiner, liles, as PMDs

then you have Franson / Phaneuf as point producers

the stay at home guys are gunnarrsson and fraser

which area do you think needs improvement? lol.. not a very hard thing to determine imo.
