Man, I went away for the weekend and expected to come back to find we had done at least one thing of value (i.e. sign an RFA, trade, etc.) but nothing. I guess we signed that goalie to replace Mark in da Park but that's about it. Lame.

Lock up Phil for 7.5
Lock up Dion for nothing more than 6.5.
Trade Kulemin
resign McClement and Bolland

If Kadri's camp wants too much money...ship him out.

Rynnas left on his own accord, Owuya...probably hated being in the ECHL all the time

you'd give Phaneuf 6.5, but you'd take a hard line with the only player in the entire organization who has #1 Centre potential??

Maybe he should watch another team?

Mornin.

Solid logic, pal.

I guess when ever anyone has had an issue with a crappy contract, it means you should cheer for another team.

And ya wonder why the fan base gets the sheep label.

Too much money.
There's only about 9 million left, Nonis will want some cap space left for trades later in the season.

he was on a 65-point pace last year. if he's going to put up 60-70 points, that's a good contract.

not sure how comparable they are. Gagner has about 4 times more games played than Kadri. Kadri will get a bridge deal worth something like 2.5ish. 3 max.

I would argue that this would drive Kadri's price down. Gagner is much more established than Kadri at the moment.

so you're saying it's inconceivable that he would have maintained anything close to that pace over the final 34 games of the season?

kadri wont get that much.

half a season of inconsistent production.. i mean he had what.. 3 points in the final month of the season?

i see a subban type deal coming.. play 2 more years for just under 3 and prove you are worth 5+ long term.
