Not as much on his second go around.
For some reason though, I thought he was on the team for a lot longer than he was |

Just a reminder that Jagr did have 10 assists in last year's playoffs, and it's not uncommon for players to go through goal droughts in the playoffs. The D is tighter and the goalies are that much more focused. I thought personally that he was a factor in the playoffs. - BarryB1124
It wasn't a goal drought. It was him not having the legs and strength to get the shot off. It's great he can pass. Let him pass to Brunner. Who else is going to score to help make up for Kovy AND Clarkson? Clowe? Henrique? Heck we need Ryder to simply replace the goals lost with Parise!!! |

So did I, but for me it seemed that way bc he was always scoring on us.
My personal favorite Russian player ever, he was a real card too. |

He doesn't have the shot he once did, but he had plenty of opportunities in the playoffs |

Our whole team had plenty of opportunities during our losing streak. Not interested in opportunities. We're good at opportunities.. We're not good at getting the puck past the goaltender. |

He was unlucky, but not quite on our level. Him being slow also contributed somewhat to him not scoring some goals he should have |

He had more goals than Kovy last year. He had 58 shots on goal in the playoffs, in 22 games. He has enough left to help us.
Kovy had 10 goals last year I think? Clarkson 15? That pro-rates to roughly 42 over a full season. I think it's a reasonable bet that Jagr, Clowe and Ryder get more than that. Ryder, Clowe and Jagr can all open up space in different ways on the PP. Maybe Zajac will actually score the 20 he should be scoring this year. Might open opportunities for other players too. |

It will be interesting to see what the top 6 will be. Safe to say Elias will be lugging Jagr around on the opposite wing(Similar to cement for skates Sykora), but who is their centre and who plays LW with Ryder? |

Thats what I would assume, but the idea of having Clowe and Zubs on the same line is mighty tempting. I know Zajac shouldn't be on the "3rd line" but between those two would make it one damn hard line to play against, both physically and defensively |

Which is exactly why I'm not satisfied or confident with just signing jagr. Brunner can finish. We need finishers. |

We're still trying to replace goals lost with Parise's absence. We lacked secondary scoring LAST year with Kovy and Clarkson. Ryder is supposed to provide that, provide what we lost in Parise's production. Now kovy is gone. So who's replacing his production, Jagr? You need another scorer in the lineup. Not just another guy that can get opportunities but fail to finish, not because of lack of talent, but lack of physical ability. That's my gripe. And he WILL get tired if we use him as a primary option. I want him getting 15 at the max.. On a rare occasion.. Not 15+ on average. |

What? Jagr is better the Brunner. Other then age and speed what does Brunner have that Jagr doesn't? Better yet name one thing besides being faster and younger Brunner is better then Jagr at... |
