You guys did end up trading Perron because of cap issues and lucked out Stew signed for what he did, he could have gotten more.

We traded Perron to cover signing Roy. We could have kept Perron and not signed Roy and still been fine with all our RFA's, which quite a few posters here were suggesting was completely unrealistic. And it's not luck when your GM signs players to intelligent contracts over and over, it's a pattern that Blues fans predicted would continue while many said we were wrong.
