-_- it has nothing to do with him being Russian. I'll try my best to spell this out for you as I would a child. In 3 or 4 years, Erhoff can:

-Make more money than his $1 mil/year salary
-Play a less pysical and demanding style of hockey
-Play closer to home in Western Europe (not Russia)
-Wind down the end of his career with his family

I don't know how else I can explain why he would want to do this...

I just want you to know.... from the bottom of my heart... I really don't give a sh1t about what your *opinion* is.... because it is just that.. a useless and self designed idea with zero factual backing.

I don't even care for ehrhoff a whole lot... he is a good guy to have but could care less if we traded him. So it isn't like u offended my favorite person.

You obviously don't understand why your franchise player left. He wanted to go back to Russia and treated like royalty and most likely come back here in a few years to win a cup like his sister eluded too. Obviously he has zero respect for the Devils which you can be bitter about. But to say Ehrhoff is the next logical player to leave is crazy. He is German he wants to play in the NHL or he would have stayed in Europe. He has never hinted at playing overseas. Kovy did numerous times. I really don't know how this came up but stay off our board and worry about how you not only lost your best 3 players in 2 years but who you won't be taking in next years draft

I've always thought that Duchene should have won rookie of the year instead of Myers. Even in his rookie year, Myers was a giveaway machine (he lead the league in giveaways his rookie year, right ?). I think people were just impressed with "big tall kid that can skate" and voted for him. Should have gone to Duchene.

I've never really been impressed with Myers and would love it if Darcy suckered some GM out there for a nice return.

With all do respect my friend, I don't care about the Avs or there line combo's. I posted that because earlier in the blog I mentioned that Garth the All World Blogger has struck again. It was brought up by an AVS fan that, it's ok for Garth to blog about the Avs because the Avs have no blogger, so that's why I made that comment.

At 23 years old.. playing in the nhl since 18 and have put on 30 lbs of playing weight and has been asked to basically play a dif style of game that made him an nhler... u call him a bust..

We wouldn't give you Johnson. On a side not though, I have no idea what the Pens are going to do with half of their cap hit on 5 players. Thats nuts. Giving Letang that money was a huge mistake.

As good as neal is avs need D not more offense, niskanen is average but nothing with trading for and Orpik is too old.

I would take him. At 23 he has plenty of time to grow. An 18 year old Dman in the NHL is crazy. Players that young need a solid veteran D partner to allow them to grow. Which is why I think they brought back tallinder

In all honesty though I love what the Sabers have done with their D, Ristol, Meyers, Zarkov, Erhoff is going to be amazing. Its just scary to think about.

I just think the offense needs a makeover, too small. I know your team has a lot of prospects and I'd say about 1/3 of them will pan out in some way shape or form but it should be a pretty exciting few years.

5 years from now I could totally see an Avs vs Buffalo Cup final. God would that be amazing. Always my favorite games.
