You quoted me before I fixed my typos, damn you!
Mine was better... lol..
Wasn't fhat Mitchell one of your leading scorers last season?
I really like downies game... hopefully he returns to who he was before the acl injury - JVince11
The line combination I gave is what Roy said he planned to do at the beginning of the season. |

ya tell me about it. wings have a guy who blogs once a month, but sabres get a guy like GARTH who blogs about other teams 5 times a day, lucky (frank)ers. - Jurco_28
Yeah I would kill for a blogger who put up at least 2-3 articles a week. I am on this site like mad during Trade deadline, Draft, FA, ect but right now there is just nothing on here. I love my team so I am happy Garth throws us a bone every now and again. |

I don't think you understand how contracts work... Erhoff's contract is 10 years. He pocked 10 mil the first year and 8 mil the second. The next four years he makes 3-4 mil per and the last three years of the deal he gets paid 1 mil a year, he could easily make more than that in the last few years playing closer to home in Switzerland. I'd say he'll be around for a couple more years at the most before he walks out on this poopty contract. - TheJerseyDevil1

Idk either...
EJ - ?
Sarich - siemens
Idk.. I don't even know the guys they have any more... maybe obryne goes bck... I really like his physicality - JVince11
Most likely will be
EJ Wilson
Barrie Hejda
Sarich Hunwick/beniot/elliot
The Avs need Defense badly but they were smart not rushing into it. The biggest issue was getting rid of all of the bad Dmen we had (Zannon, SoB, Obyrne and soon hunwick) were all awful.
Our prospects are getting better but getting another Dman and winger that the team can build around is a big necessity. If wilson can stay healthy and a whole year of Barrie should be a big help, and a new coach will do WONDERS.
Siemens will most likely develop in the AHL for another year unless he blows the Avs away in camp, they are smart to not rush him though. |

Stastny is not a fourth line center, this guy is just dumb. Roy already announced the Avs top 3 lines and he has duchene and oreily on the top line with stastny on the second and Mackinnon on the third. The most likely to go is oreily at the next trade deadline but that will only happen if the Avs are not in contention for the playoffs |

convoluted, but Sabres would get it in the ass pretty roughly if Erhoff left with the last 4 years on his deal (once it drops below $4M) it will be $2.5M a year hit for 4 years |

Just because your best player said F#CK YOU to your organization doesn't mean that a player on every other team with too....
Quit acting like a b#tch because clowe, ryder, kovy, etc moves don't make any sense and u will be a bottom five team this season and have to forfeit that pick too...

...That has nothing to do with Christian Erhoff's contract, and I never said "a player on every other team" would. If I had to put odds on the next player in the NHL to do what Kovy did, I'm putting my money on Christian Erhoff for all the reasons I listed above. You'd have to be an idiot to not understand the situation after I just explained it. |

Not to mention the Sabres would be better off if he retires sooner rather than later because the cap penalty wouldn't be as bad and you wouldn't have to keep a 39 year old on your payroll for $4mil a year against the cap. Since you can't bury contracts in the AHL anymore, it'd actually be in your best interest after 2 or 3 more years.

-_- it has nothing to do with him being Russian. I'll try my best to spell this out for you as I would a child. In 3 or 4 years, Erhoff can:
-Make more money than his $1 mil/year salary
-Play a less pysical and demanding style of hockey
-Play closer to home in Western Europe (not Russia)
-Wind down the end of his career with his family
I don't know how else I can explain why he would want to do this... |
