besides erhoff, where are all of these quality nhl defensemen?

was just on nhl.com stats and noticed that kadri looks to be the only unsigned player from this years top 30 scorers - he was ahead of duchense by a point - how much will kadri get if duchense is getting $6M/yr?

EDIT: I believe Wheeler/Stepan are still unsigned from the top 30

Chris stewart has rejected his laa t offer from stl which was an Oshie deal... he will go to aebitration..bif awarded more than 4.5m... exect his name on the trade block

Duchene at 6m is steep.. but needed..

Still have ROR and Landeskog to resign... yikes! I bet that is 13m between them two per year as well

Really hoping O'reilly can succeed on the wing so we don't have to move him, that would put Stastny as an odd man out once MacKinnon develops. I like Stastny, have his jersey, but it might be time for him to go soon. Would probably be best for the team. We'll see how next year goes though, he did not have good wingers the last few seasons and before that he had one in Stewart.

Stastny isn't worth a top-pairing Defensemen, but that's what we need. We have enough 3-4, 5-6 guys.

After this whole Kovy fiasco, I wouldn't be surprised to see Erhoff walk to Europe next within the next year or two. He's already pocketed most of the money on that front loaded deal. He could retire before all those throwaway years kick in and the Sabres will be royally boned by that cap recapture rule.

He really is, the only time he would catch fire was after a benching, a healthy scratch or being traded. I thought he would grow out of that by now, can't believe he hasn't under Hitchcock.
