Larsson was set to play for Minnesota right before he got traded. He is decent and ready soon. Idk if start of season though.

Zemgus might shift to LW and Larsson takes 3rd line checking role. That way Zemgus can move up the LW ranks once Vanek is traded and be a top 6 by next year

Larsson was "set" to play...not sure what set is implying because of injuries. He was actually going to play that night. I felt sorry for him then.

Yeah dude. Machine Head KILLED it. Amon Amarth were solid but the sound was weird. Five Finger Death Punch were one of the worst bands I've ever seen and Zombie put on a GREAT show. I realized right before going on that John5 is now his guitarist so I was stoked.

They were selling tickets to that other festival you mentioned for 10 bones.

I used to listen to the jackhammer heavy metal stuff when I was a young buck……but for me once I hit my late 20’s I slowly began to mellow out. Mostly just listen to classic rock now

A buddy of mine's cousin works for Labatt, so we ended up with free VIP tickets in the Labatt section to the right of the stage.

You are right. Machine Head was great, COB was great. LOVED Amon Amarth. Mastodon's sound wasn't that great, but they're one of my favorite newer bands, and I thought they were great. FFDP are a bunch of douches, on stage and off. The singer came up and sat next to us in the VIP section during one of Zombie's songs and (being a musician myself, and knowing how hard it is to put on a show) I figured I would tell him "great job", even though they weren't my thing. He looked at me like I was an bumhole, like "yeah, dude, I know we did a good job".

What a d!ck.

Anyway, Zombie was killer. What a stage show. Best stage show I've seen in a very, very long time.

(Oh, and John 5 kills it, you're correct. You check out his solo album yet?)

Heading to Pearl Jam at Wrigley Field tmw night, really looking forward to it. My last weekend living in Chicago so not a bad way to end my time here.

Yeah FFDP - I don't even know how they are popular. Every song is the same and they are about 10 years late for pop metal. Just awful.

And yeah I check out every John5 release. I just don't own them all because they are so dang expensive and I'm that guy that likes to buy CDs and not just download them.

Five Finger Death Punch sucks. Its just modern poopty non-classical metal. Tune the guitars to D flat and scream a lot. Vocals use the pentameter of country music.

Basically its poopty, low brow, talentless metal for kids in NT to blast while working on their beat ass '93 Silverado they inherited.

Yeah I still listen to In Flames once in a while.....they are the kings of Swedish metal. Saw them a number of times.....they played at the water street music hall in Rochester maybe 6 years ago, killer show.
