I don't really see Cundari as a top 4.

Agreed, not even close. Cundari had some offensive points at the end there but he needs way more time in Abby before he is ready. His defence was awful and his partner was bailing him out all the time. He has potential but he needs work.

Guys, Seiloff is going back to junior and will be a leader on team USA for junior tournament. He is only 19! Flames aren't the oilers so we will let our guys develop properly.

I said "will be" and "could become"

I don't think any real flames fan expects or wants the oilers rush them in philosophy

Wasn't that bad with Brodie, like to see him have a shot, He's already played a fair amount of AHL games, give the kid a chance. Honestly, the guy is a tree trunk & capable of moving & hitting opposing Oiler forwards. He also looks like Gio 2, cant be all that bad.

wotherspoon will be a gio 2.0, old reliable.

Seiloff I think could become a more mobile Regher. Something that the hemskys of the world hate to run in to.

Seiloff is too small to be the next Regher. He might be the next Bieksa though which would be fine with me. But I think he needs more time to get his body ready for being a physical NHL defender. Wotherspoon with bigger frame and his simple game might be ready for a 5/6 role right now with the possibility to move up to top 4 minutes in a year or two.

Sorry lads, but I wouldnt expect Monohan to be playing this year. Maybe a few games tops.

Well that was my thoughts too, pretty much sure he will get his 9 games. Calgary Herald did say both he & Knight were being issued their Flames jerseys, #10 for Knight & 23 for Monohan. So those lines I put out there are what I see for opening day with Monohan in the lineup. Once he is sent back to the OHL, I see Stajan moving up & Horak or Reinhart or Bouma slotting in that #4 line.
