Zero need to buy him out.
Take him back, let him play out the season here with Enroth, trade him at the deadline for a pick, then bring up Hackett for the remainder of the season.

I don't get the Miller for Halak deal people keep throwing around. Miller makes the Blues no better than they are with Halak and Halak makes the Sabres no better than they are with Miller. It would be a wash of a trade.

Is he my favorite player or the best tender ever? No. But you guys get into this ridiculous competition to see who can be the most negative. If you can paint the best doomsday picture of the franchise, it somehow proves you are the biggest fan. Miller is not going to bring us some huge multi-player and picks haul in a trade. But he's worth more than Ben Bishop. Sheesh
