“He was involved in everything. Long-range planning, contracts, negotiations, minor league. The only thing he was not directly involved in was the amateur draft. He was Dean’s right-hand man.”

For those concerned or had wondered about hexys involvement in the LA kings subpar drafting record while he was there. that was a quote from jack ferreira an assistant to Hexy.

i found that interesting, from timmy p's new article

They don't have a sub par drafting record. They had a couple of 1st round busts, but I don't think he'll bring that here.

Of course it was yoinked. God forbid something is posted that gives the individual the option of viewing or not viewing based on their own proclivities. I'll just start insulting other posters and drag it on for days, to the chagrin of the normal posters here.

Do you guys think Laughton has a shot at making the team? With the logjam at center, it seems like he'd be moved to wing, but even then its fourth line minutes. With that said, would you rather see him back with Oshawa for what I assume would be first or second line minutes or make the team?

No foul language or vulgarity, posting it was offensive doesn't mean it is allowed, will stay, or even a ban won't happen.

I think he has a definite shot at making the team. And there's a good possibility he could wind up playing Wing on the 4th line. I'd rather see him make the team. I think that would be better for his development. I think the salary Cap issues could force the Flyers to send him back to Juniors. If they can't move Meszaros.

It could come down to their camp, even if Meszaros is moved. Meaning, it may come down to a choice between Laughton & Gagne.

He doesn't have much left to prove in the juniors, and playing wing on the fourth line won't be so bad if they can get him the right amount of minutes. There would be less defensive responsibilities, less pressure to produce, and will slowly acclimate him to the pro game.

Of course, that all depends on whether he plays well enough in camp to make the team.

BTW, it was a good day to join up. Very peaceful. Welcome.

Yes. Yes he does.

I hope he doesn't make the team, though.

Is anyone else checking the Flyers website every day or so just to see when Kurtis Foster will be removed from the roster?

This is peaceful? I can't wait to see what a bad day is like! Thank you by the way
I personally would love to see him make the team, I think the fourth line with some combination of Laughton, Talbot, Rinaldo, and Hall could give you some great energy.

Yep! Took them two days to even add Lecavalier after he signed.
