Man I'm really hating how the Avs are passing all these guys up. - nayefj
Penner plays D now? We dont need forwards, plus the air is too thin for his pancake diet, cant inhale them like he can on the coast |

By that I meant any one that's available preferably a defenseman obviously. It doesn't seem like they're willing to trade much. I usually go see the Avs practice pre-season and I can get a feel for the new guys but sadly I'm not there this year. I'm in (frank)ing Penguins territory. |

Its a shame that your team left by UFA and your goalies suck. Good luck with the goals against average this year. |

When Hemsky is still here putting up sick numbers this winter, Clouts is going to be still complaining about why the oilers didn't trade him during the summer.
Give him one more year under Eakins and see what happens, it's a win win... Either he does nothing offensively and checks out, or he starts producing (which I honestly think will happen). He's set to become a UFA next July correct? If he doesn't work out this year, trade him for picks at the deadline. Either way, you're going to get the same return now as you would at the trade deadline for Hemmer. He needs a change of pace, and I do believe a new captain and coach will do just that, not only for Hemmer, but for the rest of the team. |

Yeah it was funny. Some of us defended Gagner all last off season and through the lockout. He comes out and gets a point streak of a dozen or so games and Clout says that he is amazing. Now he wants to trade him again this off season. Meanwhile Gagner is going to get his NTC and sign long term, clout it going to bash him and he will get 70 pts this year. |

I would offer Hainsey a contract, but I think he his holding out for big bucks, I wouldnt want him to pay him 4.5-5 which apparently Carolina offered him |

Clouts is the Glenn Beck of hockey blogging. Few real facts, lots of sensationalism and BS. Remember when he said mid season last year that the oil were poised to win the cup? Yeah, me too. That was HILARIOUS.
The only reason I read Clouts..... ENTERTAINMENT. I get my real hockey blog fix from Lowetide. That dude knows how to roll. |

So if the Kings have no money, why don't the Oilers offer a 2nd in 2014 and a conditional 3rd in 2014;conditional upon the Oil making the playoffs? Keeps the Kings from having to take on any contracts at this point and the Oilers get their 3rd liner they have been looking for. - nated81
Because in all likelihood one of Muzzin and Martinez get moved in a seperate deal to free up some cap space. |

All I can say I would love to have Kyle Clifford on my third line, that is all. This guy is tougher than nails with a little goal scoring upside. |
