If Anaheim signs this lazy lump of crap for more than one year I'm gonna be pissed. He only even tries during his contract years, and usually late in the season at that. Don't we have enough lazy wingers? We need a 2nd line center and a good defenseman. - yzermaneely
as much as pancakes has come thru for us in the playoffs and spread joy with his awesome personality, its not worth his cap hit. I, along with many kings fans, have a love/hate thing with penner. he has the horrid regular season performances where he disappears for 10-15 games at a time, teases with a good performance, then disappears again. but then playoff penner makes you love the guy again. im just tired of his laziness, especially being on a line with carter and Richards, he should be producing. this year he took the pay cut to prove he still had it and could be productive....it didn't happen (until the playoffs of course). will never forget the goal against phoenix to finally send us to the finals, or the buzzer beater against the blues this year....it's been fun but time to move on. |

I like the idea of Clifford to MTL! Physical and can contribute in the bottom six. |

Oh, an intelligent comment. Refreshing.

I do agree with you. Clifford would be a nice fit for MTL simply for his size. Doubt that LA will move him though. |

Wow Anahiem substitutes Ryan to possibly add a bum like Penner? That's like the Leafs replacing Kessel with Berezin. |

We love it that the Habs for have soooo small players. Hopefully LA won't trade him to the Habs. |

I agree, good fit, but no reason for LA to trade him...however he is RFA (and two others) and they have only around 2.2M in cap space at this time. Doesn't mean he's definitely traded...just means there is still the possibility...and I'd be very happy if he was in a Habs uniform.
If LA makes a move...its to ship out a d-man and clear more space to sign Clifford and other RFA's
