If something is really important to you, buy a t-shirt.

That way, when it becomes faded and stretched, and you become embarrassed to be seen in it, you can easily throw out the t-shirt.

Family
Hockey/Leafs

Only things I care about. Always have, and will never stop.
You trying to tell me getting a tattoo of something like a cancer ribbon to honour a family member is a bad idea?

- UsernameUnknown

Still like the same bands from 1993? Top song in 1993 was I will always love you by Whitney Houston. Think you'd still be happy with a Whitney Houston tattoo?

And yes, I'm trying to tell you any tattoo is a bad idea.

Leiweke will soon be eating his words when he looks up and finds himself smack-dab in the middle of planning the nostalgia fest for the 100 year anniverary without a new Cup to parade.

He's got the parade all planned out?

Really?

He is a forward thinker. A long way forward, but forward.

Your body, you can mark it up how you want to. I do understand the want to have someone or something with you always, but I fail to see how ink on your skin has that person or object with you any more than in your thoughts.

But that's just me, and Wedgie by the sounds of things.

about 6 weeks of planning went in for each of my tattoos. scorpion, a mad/racing cyclist and tea with the black dragon. There's a couple more I'd like to get done which are in the planning/debating stage.

i also had the design in my wallet for 3 years to make sure i didnt grow bored of it.

I wouldn't get say a bands name or something. That'd be a bad tattoo. But something music in general when you were brought up with it, and it holds sentimental value, then that's fine.
If one of whitney houstons family members got a tattoo in memory of her, and with those lyrics, that's not a bad tattoo idea.
I get where you are coming from. You don't like them, but I think you're crazy if you think there is no such thing as a good tattoo idea.

Hmm... Makes sense. Leafs only finished 5th last year so that merits a wild card this season and who cares that NJ just got weaker.
- Captain_Quiffe

Actually, their finish last year wouldn't require a WC into the playoffs. They finished behind only Boston and Montreal in their division.

so the team that finished second in the conference and lost in the first round sucks and the team that finished fifth in the conference and lost in the first round is good, despite neither team making any frontline additions/subtractions over the summer.

got it.

Ive got one tat that Id like to add to...its a maple leaf I drew up, with a fleur-de-lis on the inside and the colors of the Lithuanian flag in the background. Would like to add some background to make it standout/pop more but havnt gotten around to it.

Lieweke sounds like an egomaniacal stuffed shirt. If you read the actual article, the main thing emphasized is that he has promised the MLSE Board that he will double the value of MLSE within 7 years. The guy is a businessman/snake oil salesman, period. He's interested in $, not pictures. This is typical 'mission/vision statement' stuff you get from management types these days. Blah blah blah.

His statement makes no sense - "This is your legacy."

Huh?

How can you have a legacy (of greatness) until you achieve something great?
Unless he wants to post pictures of the last 4 minutes and OT of game seven vs. Boston - which I suppose could be their legacy.

But I'm betting a sports psychologist or two would discourage that.

im trying to come up with an original design to act as a background for mine...having a hard time deciding on something that I wont hate down the road or w/e...likely abstract with some sort of meaning attached to it. Kinda permanent...so...
