The bottom 4 because the foot speed is made up by Liles and Gardiner while still having good/decent defenders with them while they are being offensive.

I'd ideally like to move Liles, but I think he is still serviceable in the bottom pairing for now.

Granberg had a solid rookie camp. If he doesn't look too out of place during training camp and the exhibition schedule, I say he squeaks into the bottom pairing. I think Liles days are done with the Leafs. They had no use for him last season, I can't see how that changes now.

i'm alright with those 6.. think putting fraser on the second pairing might not work out too well

I also think TJ Brennan gets an honest shot too. Wouldnt be shocked at all to see Liles sit in favour of him

That has more too do with the news and Jesse Jackson pulling the race card. News outlets edited 911 tapes to make it sound like he was racist when in fact he never said anything about colour till he was asked by the 911 operator.

That is a huge issue - perpetuating the whole race issue. Does no one good.
Just see it for what it was.....A guy trying to protect his community that went too far (Should have waited for the cops). If he didn't have a gun on him, then this would not have happened either.....but Americans will tell you otherwise.

The issue should be why can a guy wear kevlar and carry a gun, stalk somebody based on the assumption that said person is a criminal, ignore police advice to stop his pursuit, get into a confrontation with said person, fill him full of holes, then claim self defense.

if it's true that Trayvon Martin initiated the physical confrontation, who broke the law first? what Zimmerman did was absolutely ridiculous. but based on what accounts you believe, it can be argued that Martin's actions had a bigger hand in his death than Zimmerman's racially motivated approach. this is not as cut and dry as you're making it out to be...

That seems to be the biggest issue we only truly have one side but the few witness there was all seem to back zimmermans story of events.

Was at a Leafs pre-season game in Peterborough -- a very long time ago --- when a Mr. Eddie Shack still played for the Lefs. For some reason the people I was with started giving Eddie a hard time. By the second period the women in front of us had had enough and turned around to give us poop. As soon as we did we realized which side of the family Eddie got his looks from. His mom was a spitting image of him.
