I'd say he deserves to be there along with Mayers, who also doesn't technically qualify. - Ogilthorpe2
Mayers took on Torres, he's on there. |

Exactly. I would bet that most people here's clearest memory of Carcillo is the hit on his own teammate in the Finals for Philly. - NewToHockey
It was a great hit, though. but his goal in the last minute or 2 against colorado to extend the unbeaten streak in regulation was great, too. Still was a great picture of him on the ice |

My bet is now that carbomb is gone they will resign Mayers now. Don't want to many rookies up at once, especially when that extra guy won't dress all the time. Plus Mayers can slide to the wing when Zues needs some rest and Krugman or Shaw will slide to center. |

Freeing up another roster spot will make training camp even more interesting. We could have 3 rookies on the team next year. While added fresh blood to the team is always good I think having 3 rookies play at once is a risky move, but we'll see how things work out. - DarthKane
No thanks. |

Very possible, but there's still a lot of quality FA's out there. Maybe one comes on the cheap? |

Mayers is not in the plan. Still hoping against the better wishes of this board for Graboski because I think he fits

Carcillo's injuries turned out to create the best opportunities for the team. This season his injury lead to Saad getting more ice time, last year it was Shaw. I don't mean to make light of Carcillo's injuries but its true. |

Exactly...someone big would need to be moved for Grabovski to enter the conversation. I have no idea what Mikhail may sign for, but it's likely a minimum of 3.5M...wouldn't be surprised if he returned to mother Russia for a bigger payday. |

That's exactly the point that Sam Fels made over at "The Committed Indian"...also mentioned that this likely was SB's way of admitting to an error when he signed him to that extension. |

I doubt it. I'm not anti-Carcillo and I'm not pro-Carcillo either. But nobody will ever say we lost a game or playoff series because we didn't have Carcillo in the lineup. Bollig will fill the "tough guy" role just fine while the Bickell and Shaw will bring some grit. It will be interesting to see how physical some of the Rockford kids will be. I just wish Hayes played a physical game, but I know that's as likely as Sharp playing centre. |

2 moves I don't care for are car bomb and khabi. Would rather have seen brookbank moved and Theodore signed....but it is what it is
Very little cap space to round out the lineup....looks like potential to have a couple of kids make team based on their cap hit instead of outright earning spot?
Will be interesting to see what Stan does with hammer and shaw heading into last year of deals |

He got PHUCKED OVER here...BEST WISHES to Car Bomb in Lotusland. - philco28
agreed philco! good luck carbomb! you're darryl's type of player! bollig is terrible , carbomb is history, jamal is old & shaw will get absolutly drilled once he goes against bigger players . I love the kid but SB has to replace that element or does Beach get a shot? |

I just don't like the idea of 3 rookies next year. Would much rather have another bottom 6 grinder with some NHL experience. |

Maybe. With Cooke and Rupp in Minnesota and Reaves and Lapierre in St. Louis (along with that assbag Backes), I would have thought that keeping Carcillo would make some sense. Then again, Shaw can bring the same attitude that Carcillo brings, along with better play on the ice.
I was never happy with the idea of Carcillo getting two years on that extension he received. I also thought no one would take Carcillo off Bowman's hands. |

Maybe Bowman brings in someone with experience to replace Carcillo? Preferably another guy who can win face offs.

Sure. Brookbank playing on the 4th line and carry Stanton. 8 defenseman. I can live with that. |

Eli, I'm a shaw fan but he will get the livin snot kicked out of him by any 1 of those guys you mentioned! & bollig is not NHL material, SB will look to add . you like jarrod smithson? now that would be a plus! |
