Unless Taro Tsujimoto is #1, this poll is a horrible mess. |

If we are excluding players that didn't play 5 full seasons, we are going to have a very mediocre list - RayHatesDomi
Not really. Lafontaine played more than 5, and a total of 268 games. Briers and drury get taken off the list. That's it |

I thought the term 5 "full" seasons would exclude LaFontaine |

Housley should be much higher. Three people in franchise history that made you stand up on an end to end rush. Perreault, Mogilny, Housley.
He should be higher than Ramsey for sure. Mike was consistently average. Blocked a lot of shots but in a way that sometimes put himself out of position. Chelios called out Housley but Ramsey could have blocked decided game 7 OT shot against Boston.(the way I remember it)
I like that Hajt is on list. Glad Horton is not. Hawerchuk should not be on list. He's a Jet. Patty should be lower. As hard as it is to admit, he's remembered more as an islander.
Not a huge Satan fan but could argue him just cracking top twenty leading team in scoring so many years in a row in a Lindy Ruff system.

#11 over any Sabre . Yes .
Those old enough to have watched from the beginning would agree.
IMO of course |

I have no idea why Vanek, Drury AND Briere made that master list. Order them however you wish, but certainly leave Vanek and Drury off.

some nice names there. Surprised Mogilny isn't higher, but I can't pretend to know Sabres history. Idk Martin or Perreault, and I only recognize Craig Ramsay's name. Mogilny was an incredible scorer, could just dominate with that laser of a shot. - MartysBetter88
You don't know who Gilbert Perreault is? |

I know he was a center, I should have clarified I was using the basis of scoring forward more than winger. My fault for not clarifying.
And in my opinion, Hasek is a little overrated on this board if people believe he is the greatest Sabre of all time. Again, just my opinion. But I don't think it is even close for greatest Sabre, and it's #11 without a doubt. |

Sorry to burst the bubble. But hasek was by far the best sabre ever. He is argueblely the best goalie ever. And BTW if "#11" is so important to you. Go learn how to spell his name. |

If Satan is considered to be one of the 5 best Sabres ever, we really have been a terrible franchise. Above average scoring ability but extremely soft and one dimensional - RayHatesDomi
One dimensional yet played the pk and scored 30 more points than the next closest guy in a season. For him to not be in a top 20 list of all time Sabres list is a joke.
If Vanek is on there Satan should too as he did more with less. |
