i'd say loops easily... but i wonder what if any impact his injury history would have on the decision - dragus84
I don't think I would mind that. But you raise a good point with him being a 'band aid' |

For one - Carlyle and Grabo didnt get along. Secondly, there was apparent chemistry between Bozak and Kessel, despite the fact that Kessel and Lupul did very well offensively and Bozak, well, not so much. In fact, Grabo had more points with much less ice time playing a shut down role. |

I agree...but I like traditional numbers. - Woderwick
i think the traditional numbers should be worn only if the player can carry on that number, if for say we drafted a player that turned out to be the next crosby or sundin or something, and he asked for #13, itd be nice to see him carry on that number |
|
|
|
Clarkson > Malkin - DarcyTucker16
The last and only player I could find who last wore 71 was Mike Foligno...so.... |

this is your logic
Grabovski - Not able to fetch a 1st round pick as a rental
Bozak - the reason the leafs finally made the playoffs
Bozak was the #1 center the 2 or 3 previous season also.
i would give Carlyle/Wilson as the biggest reasons why the leafs did and did not make the playoffs. You can go with Bozak - senstroll
So 2010-11
Grabovski TOI/G - 19:21
Bozak TOI/G - 19:16
No playoffs
2011-12
Grabovski TOI/G - 17:36
Bozak TOI/G - 18:50
No playoffs
2012-13
Grabovski TOI/G - 15:34
Bozak TOI/G - 20:18
Playoffs |

NO SH!T ! He should have been able to get at least a 1st round pick !
Because Grabovski signed a deal with an NHL club so quickly after getting bought out ?
- .HOHO.

There's absolutely no world in which you can argue that Bozak is the reason that the Leafs made the playoffs.
I've seen you post some pretty crazy things on here, but that's about the craziest thing I've ever read on here. Including things from canucks fans |

Bozak sucks. Every team has a Bozak and most teams realize that he sucks and they let him go.

Wasn't the argument although that's the way you wanna justify Grabovski then go ahead. Point is less Grabovski and more Bozak equals playoffs. |

I agree, as long as the player puts in time with the team and earns it, I see no point retiring numbers for good. Any player that doesn't want anyone to ever use his number again is a douche |
