I used to be terrible at putting... now I can putt most in 2, and can shoot well on the fairway, but holy crap does my driving now suck! It takes me at least an extra shot on the fairway to make up for whatever abortion of a drive I unleashed... I need to either get me some new woods or just keep the damn things in my bag and tee off with my 3 iron

Wrong advice, you have to learn to play the proper club, for the proper shot, if you want to improve.

I had the same issue. Your head is still in Hockey mood. In hockey, you shoot off your back foot, in golf the ball must be just in front of your left ear to hit it straight. So, your head is sliding past the ball at impact. Try keeping your head behind the ball, and send me a PM saying how you made out..

but i seem to always end up playing in 4 somes all lefty

So you punch the ball then? Cause if you hit the sand wedge square its going up and 80yards in range roughly. Most sand wedges (or lob wedges as most use) are 60 degrees...unless you play a 56 degree?

Yep! I hit the ball a little further on my irons, but I think its only cause of how long Ive played...Ive got a fast swing which causes a ton of ball speed...typically get a good few bounces.

I can still hit the ball right handed as well which is great for shots near trees etc lol.....always grab my buddys club and theyre always surprised I can...swing both ways....(insert joke here).

I have heard about how difficult they are, but overall its straighter and longer than my driver at the moment.
