The Alouettes are indeed brutal.
- Pecafan Fan

How'd that happen? They just old? And did the Impact forget how to play soccer? That drubbing was all over the local sports news here.

They changed the coach. The defense is ok, but the offense just isn't there.

Now the impact, I think we are starting to see the limit of old guys like Ferrari and Nesta. Hopefully they turn it around because they were having a great season.

They were way ahead. And they used up most of their games in hand now.

BTW, not a word about yesterday's game on any local station - I wasn't being sincere.

Tell me more about the show you despise, yet obviously listen to (and probably call into).

alors ça prendrait les conditions de Meech pour ramener le Québec dans la constitution?

No I got your point, I just wouldn't have included Therrien in your post.
- pete26

I respect your opinion but I believe he played a great part in the team turnaround this year.

I'm sure most teams around the league would rather have Brière on their team than Morrow.
- Scabeh

Actually at this stage of their careers, I think Morrow is probably more valuable on the 3rd line. He plays the power forward game while the Habs didn't need a past his prime sniper for that much moeny.

Paajarvi will wear No. 56. His dad was born in 1956 as were several legendary Swedish athletes, including tennis star Bjorn Borg.

Briere was brought in to replace Ryder. Not exacly that big of a deal. Yes Ryder is bigger but, he plays like he's 5'8. Briere plays bigger than he actually is so its basicly an upgrade.... Lets not forget that Chicago won the cup as the 2nd smallest team in the NHL so size isn't really all that important. It comes down to character and team chemistry in my opinion...
