Of course they did. Doesn't mean they would have, but they were 6 or 7 games ahead of the Braves, best record in baseball, and would have at least been relevant for a few years. I was in law school with all these Americans and they were ripping through the season. Was awesome. Had my Wetteland jersey on (yes Marty, it was tucked of course) and I was ready for the playoffs.

You said nothing about "in the end".

you are right, I did not specifically mention that. I do apologize for the confusion this may have caused.

The Molson Centre was far from full at the end of the 90s. Would you say that the Habs had no fans?

didn't you know a strike was coming?
- DoubleDown

I chose to ignore that fact.
Just like I ignored the fact that Strasburg was going to be shut down last season.

I have a baseball picture of myself at an Expos game when I was 4 or 5. really wanted to take a picture with Youpi so I got in front of a camera while someone was taking a picture with him. Found the picture while looking at old stuff last year.

Hold on a second.

First, if you love the orange puke so much, spell his (frank)ing name correctly.
Second, someone else was taking a picture, you got in front of the people that were being photographed, and then asked them to send you a copy of the picture?

I grew up thinking the Habs were the pooptiest franchise ever and never amounted to anything good. What was my surprise when I learned that they had won 24 Cups and that Patrick Roy/Martin Brodeur were actually from Quebec.
