Oh yes. Very much so. Though I didn't mind wearing glasses, the conveniences are very apparent, very quickly. Plus, contacts killed me. As soon as I got off the ice, I ripped them out.

Same for me, wore contacts for 6-7 years but can't wear them anymore. They really annoy me and dry out my eyes.
