No it wasn't it was easy to see. Tom Wilson going so early, now McCarron. No poop, they all want Lucic. If you're 6'3+ and will kill anybody you see, but also have some goal scoring ability and can skate faster than a glacier you are the new cocaine. |

I don't know the guy... but it's like they drafted a "need" (big guy) flipping a coin and hoping he turns into Lucic or something. |

If that's actually your assessment of McCarron, I'm pleased with the pick |

He is tough SOB.
When Timmins gave an interview post draft, he mentionned he had improved steadily the last two years and they believe he will keep on getting better.
I hope he's right. Playing for the London Knights will be better for his development, that's for sure. |

well...maybe it'll work...is it any better to draft a small guy hoping he one day makes it as a goal scoring virtuoso?

Actually, I would've prefered if his "development camp" video consisted of him pounding (with his fists you perverts) on dead animal carcasses...

He's a massive female genitalia who loves to hurt people, that isn't terrible at skating. He lacks a lot of skill, but has decent hands (watch the U18's he had some nice moves around the net). He's a complimentary guy who will likely be a 3rd liner...but Lucic was also expected to be a 3rd liner...at best. Now he's the new (frank)ing crystal meth. At least he ain't David Fischer. |

If he turns out in a 2nd liner-ish/3rd line gravy who can make place for Gallagher/the next midget while potting a few here and there and scoring with his ass, I'd have no problem with that. |

I'm not sure where I stand on it...if he'd been described as he is but came from the O, Q or the W I think I'd be totally fine with it...
I'm just not sold on the whole USDT thingny...(although lately more and more are panning out...).
EDIT: crims, please tell us again that you don't care...it's always super funny and original.

Some complain about the Kristo trade, but it was pretty clear that guy never wanted to be in Montreal. Glad to see that guy is going to London in order to speed up the process of playing in the NHL. |

Kristo seems super talented and i wouldn't be surprised if he ended up being pretty good. but he seems like a complete female genitalia and i hope his career is in tatters within 6 months. kid just has the look of someone who will snort his way out of the league. |
