Damn. Storms can be nasty there. I've seen 15 minutes of rain since the last week of June. It did get up into the 30's the other day, but mostly it's been between 25-30. As much rain as this place gets for 6 months, the other 6 are pretty sweet.

We were driving in Etobicoke yesterday and when going down residential streets, it was crazy to see the aftermath of the destruction of the last flood has caused.

I swear... 90% of of the houses had their front lawn completely covered in their basement's guts.

It really boggles my mind why the Habs are not going after Douglas Murray and/or Ryan Whitney on the backend. When I look at the backend, we are really undersized with Bouillon, Gorges and Diaz, not to mention a 70% Markov and losing Emelin until December. If they get one of the above guys, then the D will be a lot more bigger and with Emelin back the d will be tough to play against.

On the front end, I don't want to see more than 2 guys below 6 feet, if we have to keep those guys, I would only keep Plekanec and Gallagher. They need to either sign Morrow or make a trade with Vancouver to bring in Burrows, Kesler and Edler and going the other way would be Desharnais, Markov, Gorges and a pick.

Does insurance pay for lost food? I know just about everyone claimed (and got) several hundred dollars of lost meat after the ice storm. I think my parents got $600ish.
