Bettman changed the rules for the voters. Before 94 they had to have at least one voter from every NHL city, now they don't. Almost all are based on the east coast, TO to Detroit and NY. It's lame.

Funny thing is no one from TO voted for him apparently. OV getting votes at 2 different positions is absurd.

Seguin also got selke votes.

Get rid of Phaneuf and Toronto then needs two number 1 dmen. It's already going to be tough to make the playoffs. Remove him without finding a decent replacement and they are likely screwed.

I agree. Hate or hate em, he does eat the most minutes on the Leafs D. I've always said, even with Phanuef, Leafs need another minute muncher to take the load off of Phanuef. Take away Phanuef, & that's asking ALOT on some young D who may not be ready yet for more responsibility.

Yes Dion makes timely mistakes at the most cruscial moments. I hate his face or the fact that he never smiles, I hate the fact that a fricken Frankenstien like him is boinking a babe like Elisha, however, as of this time, the Leafs are better with him than without him.
