Still, a much better partner (Kostka/Holzer) than Phaneuf got most nights, Schultz got to play with a real NHL guy!

I'm not putting Dion down. I just don't see how J Schultz gets no credit for a pretty damn good season because of his +-.

Also, he may have been used to playing 40 games a year in college. Had to play 34 in AHL, 48 in NHL, 8 in WC. Looked worn out half way through the season.

Vanessa (my GF who is from Stony Plain, Alberta) was doing her streetcar shift and tells me when she went passed Church St. she was shocked to see, let me paraphrase this "Steve, there was this guy who looked like the YMCA biker... he had assless chaps, big 'stache, and the hat. I was listening to the radio on the drive home from work, and the guys on the local sports station in Edmonton starting talking about the teams behind them in the standings and how many games in hand they had on the Oilers. I kid you not; they actually said something along the lines of, "We have some really important must-lose games coming up this week."

It was hilarious, but also profoundly pitiable.
