In what way is he better defensively? I watched Schultz play a couple times and he didn't seem that much better, not worse, but not significantly better defensively.

Negative. That's TylerSeguin19. And unfortunately he's not going to Georgetown as a grade 12 advanced math credit was more important to his future than university. Even though this kid was highly regarded as a someone these places want. I remember when he was letting us know in August that he went looking at Universities and chose at the end of August where he was going. Crazy.

It's not perfect, but it's an indicator, and if you're the worst on your team in terms of +/- then that's really not a great sign of your defensive prowess.

It's subjective as hell and would really only indicate something over several years. A load of different things can impact +/-.
