You'll miss Raymond's ice-capade antics on day.

Hell no would be my answer but I'd really need to see what Jensen and Horvat look like at camp. Jensen looked pretty far from top line caliber during his cup of coffee last year. I realize he was playing with plugs but he'd had to have had a stellar off-season regime to secure a firm spot on the Sedin line.

I agree about Jensen , but he honestly does need to audition more than two games. He has to be given the chance to succeed. If he is not ready after 25 -30 games then put him back for a couple of years and show him where he needs to improve.

This year we don't have much of a choice about our top 6 unless we move Lu or Edler, to aquire a true top 6. I say give the kids a chance to see who can make it.

There's definitely going to be an element of that this year. Torts seems to incorporate youth well into a mix of vets.

On a side note, it looks like Booth's ready for a 30 goal season...

Would you prefer Raymond and Higgins back there again?
- VANTEL

Higgins just signed a new contract with an NTC—he's not going anywhere anytime soon.

It's best to just accept it...

The guy is actually a very good 3rd liner, and at a better cap hit than a lot of other 3rd liners in the league.

Still more than I hoped he would get, though.

I dont know why people are so unhappy about his signing...
The man is versatile like burrows and play with hustle everytime he is on the ice which many of the nucks lack...
He may not put up the points but he puts up the effort

Weise puts in effort, still don't want him on the team.

With Hansen and Booth already on the roster he isn't needed. If booth wasn't here, I'd say Higgins has to be.

The comment I made was about Higgins playing top 6 not the third line .

Oh, agreed.

Higgins in the top6 is far from ideal. He can fill in for a few games if need be, but I hope he doesn't see any considerable time there.

Just gotta hope Kassian is able to take the next step, either with him on the Sedin line bumping Burrows down to the 2nd, or taking the RW spot on the 2nd line himself.

Yes they are. Bizarrely and unnecessarily gross at times. But I'm sure we've all learned something and are ready to move on.

My feelings on goaltending are that neither Lu nor the Canucks have any options anymore. He's stuck with us, we're stuck with him, let's kick some ass. Lu is a competitor and wants to win. His only chance to do that is here. He needs to make the best of it.

The only quote that should be next to a Stephan A. pic should be something to the tune of "It is only because he is black...."

ESPN's professional racist.

All joking aside if the canucks wanted to take the LTIR route, they need not say anymore then "concussion" No doc on the planet will challange that given how cautious they are about those situations.
- Bieksa#3

When you're talking about professional athletes the smallest injury can prevent them from playing. There are a number of "injuries" that a 40 year old goaltender could acquire that would be severe enough for him not to be able to play professional hockey that would prove virtually impossible for a doctor to prove did not exist.

Roy won 4 cups, 2 of them nearly on his own. He IS the best in NHL history regardless of what the stats say. I'm a big Lu supporter but he's pretty far down the list for best of all time unless he wins a couple of Cups. I can think of three Hab goalies off the top of my head.
- golfingsince

Dominik Hasek was the best of all time. 6 Vezinas, 2 Hart Trophies, Stanley Cup, Olympic Gold. Highest career save percentage of all time. Lowest goals against average in the modern era.

Roy has more cups because he played for great teams. Hasek didn't have that luxury until the end of his career.

I go to Portland three times a year. Get a Voodoo doughnut for me. I'd go with Lilard, he's great.
