Moss is the best WR of his generation. But with focus could have been best ever. L
- Bieksa#3

TO ranks 2nd in yards, 3rd in receptions and 3rd in TD's. No one had more talent than Randy Moss though. I remember him as a rookie. Just ridiculous. Megatron will retire as the 2nd best though.

He is a huge A-hole but he is one of the all time great WR. Look at his numbers. Rice is the clear number 1. But TO in my opinion is a top 5 guy. Dont even get me started on Kobe. He has driven 3 Centers out of LA (shaq, Bynum Howard). He texted Howard last summer and was like "come to LA man and be our Tyson Chandler" You can be our 3rd option we need it" Why would Dwight even want to be the 3rd guy. LOL
- Bluechip23

No one forced Howard to go there. Kobe is the feature guy in LA and will be until he retires. hard to argue with his record. Guys like Kobe are what win you championships. I think Howard will burn out in Houston because he's basically Ben Wallace with somewhat better offence, but he's not in the same league as the truly great centers in basketball history.

WRs? Rice, Carter, Moss...dunno that Id put TO with them. I think Megatron will be in the group after it's all said and done. Guys a freak.

Totally agree about howard. He isnt an all time great for sure. He has no Low Post game. But people also forget how dominate he is in the current NBA. He took that Orl team to a finals appearance and they had NO ONE but him.

I dont think carter is in the same league. If TO wasnt an idiot he would be 2nd in every category for wr stats (recpt, TD's, Yds). Remember he can still play well could play but no one wanted him on their team because he is an idiot. But in my opinion he has lost at least 2 - 3 years of production because he is an idiot.

Irvin doesnt have the stats because they ran a crap load with Emmitt but he is a top 5 guy I think.

Yes Megatron is a freak. How do you cover him. That being said, Moss was a whole different animal. I remember his rookie season, where Cunningham would just throw the ball as far as he could. Didn't matter if it was into triple and quad coverage and the fu©kin freak would either jump over everybody or just run past them

Howard is a b!tch. Acted like a baby in Orlando, same for the Lakers. IMO he is an awful fit in Houston. They are run gun, fast pace and up beat. Dude should have signed with dallas

Moss should have been the best ever. He's like the Kovalev of the NFL. Pretty damn good but you always knew there was soooo much more there.

He had as much or more talent than almost anyone he ever played with. Yes, I mean ever. He just had no motivation. The nights where he decided to actually try he would basically own the ice. A more colossal waste of talent I've never seen.

You know why all these black athletes go broke(not trying to be racist) They support so much dead weight. They can't seem to get away from the "in the hood" mentality. Hernandez is in the same boat. Kill a guy because he talked to people u don't like? Really? The man had everything and threw it away.

AI had a 50-man entourage.

Divorce is also a killer. Alimony payments get set while they are earning millions. As soon as the pay cheques stop, bankruptcy is inevitable.

As someone who has a wife who does family law this is somewhat inaccurate, unless your lawyer is retarded. Your income changes so should your alimony payments.
- Bieksa#3

I know it should.

Read up on these cases - it's what is killing these guys

Oh, and palimony payments.

Travis Henry; eight kids from seven women.

Broke.

Who would have guessed?

Edit: nine from nine.

I love all the leaf fans here telling us how crewed we are...about how bad the management team treated him...

To this date I have never heard the management team come out and publicly treat luongo bad in the media...they never put him down or degrade him. If you mean they treated him bad by not trading him to the leafs for nothing, I would say they did him a favor.

For the most part, I agree that they have treated him fine. You make millions, you have to put up with stuff.

But pushing him in front of a media scrum 15 minutes after the trade deadline ended with no prep was bush league.

I'm confident it wasn't done out of spite, but wowzers was it ever a PR disaster. It could have been handled much, much better.

Gotta say, I think Lu is in a much better place than Cory right now. Wonder how he feels.

I think Cory is a great goalie, but given there situation I'm not sure how great that trade looks for NJ anymore.l

This is the lineup i predict John Torterella will choose to start the season out of training camp. A big 2 way lineup injected with young legs.

Sedin Sedin Jensen(Jensen skilled finisher, fast, big body, impresses in camp)
Burrows Kesler Horvat(Kesler alternates center with Horvat, Horvat top 6 skill stud)
Higgins Gaunce Hansen (Gaunce will have solid 2 way wingers on shutdown line)
Sestito Richardson Kassian (Kassian will get spot duty with Sedins)
Weise Lain

Booth waived after poor camp, reports to AHL with full salary.
Schroeder to AHL
Shinkaruk to WHL

Hamhuis Bieksa
Edler Tanev
Garrison Corrado
Weber

Luongo
Lack
Eriksson (to start AHL, Start NHL if Luongo gets suspended without pay, chooses not to play)

- gunner2233

This seems to be close to a line up we can ice. I think Booth will be given a 25 game audition first though

One would think Jersey should be the top choice to finish last but somehow I still think they make the playoffs.

You'll miss Raymond's ice-capade antics on day.

Hell no would be my answer but I'd really need to see what Jensen and Horvat look like at camp. Jensen looked pretty far from top line caliber during his cup of coffee last year. I realize he was playing with plugs but he'd had to have had a stellar off-season regime to secure a firm spot on the Sedin line.
