Questioning his heart is out of the question he's always giving everything he has out there. Brains is mostly on the catcher for pitch selection and whatnot. - Genev21
That's bull. He's far to inconsistant to say he gives it all |

Have you watched him on the pirates he's been very consistent and good. The only bad thing is when he starts we don't score runs so he doesn't get a W. |

Screw that. Since day #1 of his career Burnett has been Up and down. Dominate stuff but no brains or heart - Bieksa#3
Its funny, because over the last year and a half he's been all heart. Also, for those saying we won't be able to bring Wandy back, remember he has a player option that continues to pay well if he elects to use it. Also, in this scenario, the Astros are still on the hook for a lot of his contract next season. |

The Pirates look good. Hopefully they can carry it through the 2nd half of the yr this season and pull out a play off berth. Gonna be one very good team in the NL central miss the playoffs. |

Distinct possibility that both WCs come from the Central. Second placed team in the west won't get it and Washington has some issues - especially if they lose Gio to a suspension.

Everything I've read says Gio is safe. Being a braves fan though it wouldn't hurt my feelings if he was suspended. I expect a huge move out of Washington in the next 2 weeks. 75% of the pundits handed them the WS in march.
Will they get Gallardo and Hart? Fire Davey Johnson? That being said I expect a push out of them before its all said and done |

Hart is out for the season, so they won't be getting him anytime soon. Gio, I hope is safe. I have no replacements for my fantasy pitching staff.
Washington is a mystery. Harper certainly is the main guy to trigger that team offensively. Zimmerman isn't the player he used to be. When Harper was out, you know its somewhat bad when Ian Desmond sparks your offense. Not saying Desmond is bad at all.
I don't think Gio is that safe. I have another guy who could get nailed - E. Cabrera. The two primary targets are ARod and Braun. However, if baseball wants to make a statement, it has to nail everyone involved in some form. |

Apparently Go took only acceptable injections. Nelson Cruz is another one gonna get it, B Colon as well. They are targeting both Braun and A-Roid for 100 games because they lied. I used to like Braun but the way he weasaled his way out of a suspension and kept his MVP award makes me sick |

We have no idea what happened. All we have is he said, she said type of stuff. To me, if these guys fail to answer questions when MLB talks to them, that is admitting guilt. I know, innocent before proven guilty is the US motto. However, if innocent, why not speak?
Braun makes me sick too. They can strip him of the MVP award easily. |

Braves with Freeman, Heyward and Upton x2 all due to injury today. Yikes |

Freeman and Justin Upton are the only losses. Heyward has been a disappointment and BJ has been an abortion in Atlanta. The Braves will find a way to get through the injuries though. They always seem to find replacements. |

Heyward is batting near 300 since the end of may. Just takes some time to get that average up. That being said, they are far and away the best defensive outfield in the majors. All 3 are gold glove candidates |

Tough to keep up to date in Amish country where the only acceptable form of long range communique is two cans and a string. |

I think we could see all 3 teams make it.
probably the only threat is whoever doesn't win the division between Atlanta and Washington. |

Top end talent in the rotation this year and the bullpen is lights out. Even if the bats continue to struggle they will be in every game. The last couple years they had guys like Correia as their ace and Karstens as like the 3. Now you have legit talent like AJ, Wandy, Liriano, Cole, and Locke with Morton as your 6 when Wandy is healthy. It's much different make up. They may fall short of the playoffs but that losing street is done. |
