Seriously? I have seen nothing that qualifies as "absolutely slamming David Perron". That is such a massive distortion that I can't believe you wrote it. In fact, check Twitter.........almost every columnist or blogger covering the Blues went out of his way to publicly wish Perron well and talk about how good he was with the press and with fans. You had a couple of articles discuss why the deal makes sense for the Blues, but that's a far cry from how you characterize it.

Agreed, Ducks got a great deal. Silvferberg will play with Perry and Getz and Noesen is only a season away, plus a first rounder.

Hall's career avg SH% is 11.9

also meaning even though Hall had a better PPG than kessel this year, Hall was shooting below his avg at 10.4(1.5 less than avg) and kessel was shooting above his avg at 12.4(1.5 higher than avg)

Tough to demonstrate, but I mean Kessel is literally better at shooting the puck hard/accurate.

Shooting percentage wouldn't factor in where on the ice they're shooting the puck, whether they were forcing the shots, whether they just got a gimmie from a teammate etc.

Again, it is just my opinion watching Kessel that his shot is essentially his best quality.

I think if CGY got McDavid, It would turn into a great rivalry

Penner/Gordon/Jones would be pretty good, IF Penner isn't maddeningly inconsistent like last time. But there's no meat left on this bone. Let's move on to the Phaneuf "rumor."
