It's too easy to say last place. We won't be near the playoffs, but I have some optimism about Hartley. Last in the division seems likely, but I don't think we will be last in the west. At the same time, it all depends on our goalies.
- Boom.

CGY's goaltending is a disaster, but their team is not as bad off as EDM was in 2010.

I think Hartley's a great coach, just pathetic roster. I just hope CGY doesn't get mcdavid in 2015

Also EDM should push for Mark Fayne out of NJ. Him or Bernier

Rammo is Finnish right? I get nervous he's going to be another great finish goalie right around that age group. Calgary is due for some goalie woes for the first time in a while.... Side note, does anyone remember when fuhr went there? Was that a dream?

2 other gems I saw recently, 2headed shark attack, not as bad, lot of tits. And sharktopus... Also better, but still cheesy as (frank).

there are so many just like it, giant shark vs. mega octupus, crockasaurus vs. ???

sharknado takes the cake. When the girl with the shotgun came out of the shark alive with the dude I gave up

But Stafford, someone who has outpointed Hemsky by 20% over the last 3 seasons, is only work a 3rd? He is younger, bigger and has better numbers.
- Marshalle

Hemskys been in the hospital the last 3 years. So there's that.

fayne's pretty underrated. If NJ fans are thinking he's too much, I'd do Hemsky for bernier and a pick then sign Toni Lydman

I agree, not to take a shot at Canucks fans but they're arguably the best two players they had, so they kind of had to no? After 40 years they have to put something up there in the rafters (not intentionally taking a poke at no cups Canucks fans relax... Just kind of happened that way).

Back to the smyth point, back in 2007 before the trade I would have said yes retire his jersey, now I don't know. I love smytty but his play of late kinda sours me on it. I like having a jersey retirement reserved for truly special players. I mean look at Montreal or Boston, They don't just retire anyone's jersey. Plus lets be serious, does anyone else wear 94 in the league, what at chances anyone else would wear it for the oilers?

What's everyone else think?

- massa_3

Quite Often players wear the # for the year they were born (Kane 88, Nuge 93, Landeskog 92 etc. Just getting into the 94's, I here it's the number Yakimov is gonna go with.

Who said Stafford is only worth a 3rd? I just said he's not what we need. A 4 million dollar 3rd liner.

That would be an interesting choice, not sure anyone this soon would want to "do that" to smyth. Didn't smyth select 94 because it was his draft year? Lol

Yeah he's solid.

Bernier though? He has a decent contract but I sure hope the oil could get more

I made it through it, Was the worst I've seen by far. Some of the other ones are good for a chuckle and a couple of nice racks. Don't mind them, case of beer and a dub helps.

Actually kinda liked the 2 I mentioned. Fell asleep during magashark vs crocosours. But I'd give it another go.

Hemsky's value is at an all time low, and I'd rather he go to the east because I see him lighting it up when he leaves EDM.

Bernier's 6'3 220. Good 3rd line option. Although he did (frank) over NJ in game 6 last year

What do you see Hemsky being worth? Realistically.

Well, with 1 year left at 5 million I would settle for either a bottom 6 forward, a mid level prospect or a 3rd. I mean he's not Thomas Vanek, if he was we would be able to get 2 firsts, a 2nd , a top 5 prospect and a young roster player. You know, when you consider that the Sabres will get even more for Miller, it's pretty hard to imagine this buffalo rebuild going anyway but silky smooth. They will own the last half of this decade and win multiple cups!

Naw, he's probably going to 10. Which pisses me of, cause I already bought the 64 jersey.

truest statement on this site.

I mean if BUF can pull off that Vanek for Hall+Nurse trade then deal Miller for Tavares+Strome, they could be good sooner rather than later

I never thought any fan base could be as rediculous as TO's, but Buffalo has them beat by far. The best is when they call the city of Edmonton a poophole!
