Agreed. Just to further that, I think Morin had a higher ceiling (possible Pronger-esque) than Hagg (Timonen-esque), but I think Hagg is more likely to come closer to reaching his ceiling than Morin
- jmatchett383

I'm kind of biased to players with a more complete skill set. Morin seems too much of a one way player, which is fine but I'd like to get the most bang for buck with roster slots.

Especially if Simmonds is going the other way, bringing in a bigger body would be nice. Even though Simmonds is average size at best, he plays 3 inches taller and 20 lbs heavier.

if you want a bigger body we can add boyle

I want them to win every game, and want a Stanley Cup every year.
That said, if I'm disappointed in that regard but it leads to a Stanley Cup years down the line, I'm okay with it.

I was watching the NHL Network showing the 87 Finals this morning. Game 7...Sinsisalo...Fuhr down...elevate the puck Ilka!

I point it out because I, too, vacillate between the two extremes at times.

Emery and Streit have each had as many playoff appearances as him.

Obviously he only benefited from that playoffs powerhouse franchise that is the Toronto Maple Leafs.

They weren't Flyers last season. Sorry I did not make my post more specific for the nitpickers.

Illka Sinisalo is easily one of my all-time favorite Flyers.

Good thing that Al Gore hadn't invented the Internet yet or else Ilkka would be killed for that like Jeff Carter in 2010.

If they cut the state of New Jersey in half, at Trenton, and made each half of the state it's own separate state......I'd heartily embrace that.

So, say you have an 18-year-old that makes an NHL team, and the following year, for whatever reason, he doesn't make the team. All you can do is make him a healthy scratch, correct? Or can he be returned to juniors after a full NHL season?
- jmatchett383

That's a very good question. One that I don't know the answer to. I don't know if playing that full year in the NHL, cancels out his remaining Junior eligibility or not.
