If nothing else, he seems to have his head on straight and taking everything seriously, which was one of the biggest concerns when he was drafted. - UIF
If he turns out then we are going to be stacked up front. Snow could draft all Dmen for the next couple years! |

I went into the team store after the scrimmage hoping to get some Clutterbuck gear and they didn't have any Now I know why they just announced he will be wearing 15. Regin 16 and Bouchard 96 - Vukota
Am I the only one that still gets pissed that I've had to watch the other players wear this # when it should be retired
UGH....

You were better than the rags last season?
U guys have a great offense and good defensive prospects but our defense and goaltending is one of the best in the league and our offense is good enough/will be better with av as coach. - rangerdanger94
You do realize that your defense will probably suffer as a result of an offensive coach
Not to be rude but I always though the rags defense was overrated due to the heavily defensive gameplan |

Yeah, I hope Grabner gets more 5-on-5 ice time this season on whatever the second line turns out to be. He did a heck of a lot on the score sheet with limited even-strength ice time last season while playing with linemates who had limited offensive skills...he scored more goals than Moulson (and everyone else on the team not named Tavares) last season. Someone will probably point to a lazy defensive play he might have made this one time in this one game along the line, but he couldn't have been that bad defensively...he was one of only two regular forwards (Bailey was the other) to finish on the plus-side for the season. He's not a perfect player...but he brings a unique skill set to the table with his speed and ability to pick off passes that other teams have to respect...might as well find a way to get him out there more often. - UIF
Grabner did have the last big hit of the season we he destroyed Malkin in game 6
Completely shocked me |

Yea maybe but it might get better too because like I said, hank was often screened by his own players or the puck took a weird deflection off one of the many bodies in front of the net whenever he let up a goal. Washington's gameplan in the playoffs was to actually just rip shots from the point for deflections before we adjusted a little.
The new assistant coach in charge of our defense, ulf samuelson, described his system as the goalie seeing everything and everyone and no rebounds. A lundqvist that can see the puck is a lundqvist that will save the puck, most of the time. Guys like staal, girardi, and mcdonagh are excellent at poke checking and cutting down angles and separating the man from the puck so hopefully the defense doesnt suffer too much. It probably will a little at least tho. |

is stall 100% recovered? I thought I'd read he'd lost some of his sight in the one eye
honest question, not trolling you |

that's not too bad, Berard lasted a while with much less. Shame though, solid defenseman and would like to see him make a full recovery, even though he's a ranger. |
